The Yellow Sundress

Akasha just loves being outdoors! She gets sooo excited when she feels the air and wind. If she's unhappy, and she's brought outside or gets the fan blown on her, she IMMEDIATELY stops crying. It's adorable. Maybe it has something to do with her astrology sign? Her element is Air! It was really hot outside so we put her in this yellow sundress. She looks sooo cute in yellow and of course Mommy took a TON of pictures. Enjoy!

P.S. Akasha giggled for the first time ever today. It was only for like a minute and we didn't get it on video, but I'm going to try and try again!! It was the CUTEST thing ever!

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted a blog! Brian and I have just been so busy packing and cleaning and trying to get everything figured out! Here's a few pictures that I've taken lately and there's definitely more where this came from!

It was sooo hot (90 degrees) that Akasha stayed in her diaper all day and we kept spraying her with water! At first she was scared, but then she would smile! (Yes, by the way that is a Shrek glow stick that she's holding!)

First ER visit

Akasha woke up with a little bit of a runny nose and cough the other day, I figured she'd just caught a cold and I'd just watch her to see how she was doing. She wasn't fussy at all, just a little more sleepy than normal. We were watching a movie and Akasha felt really hot. We took her temperature and it was about 100.3 so I called the emergency health line and they said to take her into the ER. They gave her antibiotics through her IV, gave her Tylenol, took some Ex-rays and gave her a blood test. The doctor said everything was fine. They send us home 3 hours later (3:00 A.M.) and told me to call my doctor in the morning if I thought it was getting worse. She seems all better now, thank goodness. It was like a nightmare I wasn't waking up from hearing her cry. The first real tears fell down her face. It was awful. She's all better now though!! Here are some pictures to enjoy!

My favorite video of Akasha is the one where she is smiling like crazy, but this is my second favorite video of her because she's talking up a baby storm! It's so cute! You might have to turn up your volume, some of the parts are kinda quiet! Enjoy!
